Love Made Visible ... a vision for sustainability.

Although still just a seed, the concept for Love Made Visible is to create a space with consciousness and intention that puts into practice holistic sustainability. This includes environmental sustainability, social justice, health, well being, and consciouness. On a practical level the manifestation of these concepts will come to fruition as a space with a restaurant/cafe, wellness center and working garden. The facilities will be designed to create a community that will be accessible to all. Eventually the space will be used as a place to bring people together to work through conflict by connecting with each other and the earth.

About Leah Rinaldi

After graduating from Scripps College with a degree in Environmental Studies and spending a year working for a local non-profit organisation, I left America to travel and explore the world. I traversed three continents, filling my ears with new languages, my eyes with new faces and my taste with new flavors. My experiences were as diverse as the countries I visited: climbing mountains in Morocco, volunteering on an organic farm in Spain, working for an aide organization in Ethiopia, and exploring the remnants of ancient civilizations in Turkey.

Eventually I arrived in Bali where the journey that I had begun a year and a half before began to change. Instead of moving from place to place and discovering the outer world, I settled down and embarked on a journey of personal growth. The inward journey was the natural compliment to my outward journey, helping me integrate all the aspects of a truly sustainable life.

Over the course of six months I focused on my personal well being by exploring nutrition, meditation and a variety of body/mind/spirit transformative healing practices. I learned how to listen to my body, connect with my heart and embody my presence. I found that the more I worked on my inner world, the more my outer world fell into place.

It was through looking in that I came to the realization of how to bring together all of my outward knowledge and skills. As I began to go deeper into the relationship between consciousness, body and mind, I found a personal expression through raw food. I developed skills as a raw chef; apprenticing in a raw kitchen and creating the raw foods menu at a local restaurant.

Bringing together all that I had learned from my rich life experiences I found a way to connect them with my heart. I found a way to turn my work and passions into Love Made Visible.
